At the start of the new academic year pupils and staff came together to celebrate Roald Dahl Day. There was an assembly by Miss Waterhouse at the beginning of the week in which staff shared anecdotes and memories of favourite Roald Dahl books. During the week the library was a hive of activity as events took place to celebrate this timeless author.
During two lunchtimes there was a film showing of Fantastic Mr Fox.

A competitive team quiz saw pupils and staff pitting their wits against each other to see who had the best Roald Dahl knowledge.

The top three winning teams were:
1st Place: Gobblefunk
2nd Place: Pepsi Max
3rd Place: The Twits

The sweet ‘taste testing ’ proved to be lots of fun, especially for the watching audience. We now know that Mr Mackin detests liquorice! Thank you to all those who were brave enough to participate.
