On Wednesday 23rd November, 120 Year 7 pupils were whisked away to a magical snow swept land- the New Vic Theatre's latest stage production of ’The Snow Queen’.
It is a classic children’s tale of adventure, friendship and bravery, brought to the stage by the brilliant creative team behind legendary New Vic Christmas shows such as The Borrowers and The Hundred and One Dalmatians. The pupils were treated to enchanting characters, original music and with breathtaking on-stage magic.
The pupils are to be commended for their excellent behaviour and conduct throughout the day. They relished the opportunity to experience live theatre and many commented on the enjoyable aspects of the day. One stand out moment of the play was the tumbling snow that dusted the pupils: twice!
