On Wednesday 28th January, pupils from 9-1x Ma and 10-1x Ma joined thousands of students from schools across the country to take part in the National Intermediate Maths Challenge.
The challenge is designed to stretch and inspire pupils by presenting a range of mathematical puzzles and problem-solving questions, encouraging logical thinking, perseverance, and creativity. It aims to recognise and celebrate gifted mathematicians while giving pupils the opportunity to test themselves against a national standard.
All pupils approached the challenge with focus and determination, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and resilience throughout. Successful participants will be awarded certificates and may be invited to take part in further rounds of national mathematical challenges.
The Maths department is extremely proud of the pupils involved and, along with them, eagerly awaits the results. We will share updates as soon as they are available.
