Talented performing arts students from Chesterton Community Sports College have been performing in an amateur production of Peter Pan at the Stoke Repertory Theatre this week. The production is being staged by The Potteries Theatre Company. After weeks of hard work in rehearsals the production opened on Wednesday 20th November and runs for four nights. The standard of performance of all those taking part in the show was excellent.

Miss K Owen, Head of Drama at the school, attended the show and said: "The pupils were fantastic and very professional on stage."

Several CCSC pupils played major roles with year 7 Saskia Boardman playing the lead as Peter Pan. Lucie Moss of year 9 played the part of Wendy and Joseph Walton, year 7, played Smee.

Other pupils who starred in the show were year 9 pupils: Grace Smith, Jacob Walton, Jodie Middleton, Megan Futter and Darcie Bagguley and year 7 Natasha Futter.

Congratulations to all those who took part.

Miss K Owen
