On Tuesday 27th November, 150 Year 7 pupils found themselves thrown into a world of  talking toads, power-hungry foxes and worrisome otters!  The pupils were treated to a magnificent performance of ‘The Wind in the Willows’ at the New Vic theatre, immersed into the adventure on the River Bank with Rat, Mole, Badger and Mr Toad for company.

The pupils had to navigate boat trips, discovered new places and watched a succession of motor cars hurtling down winding country lanes. Performed by a large cast, featuring live music and filled with cunning, courage and friendship,The Wind In The Willows  was an enchanting story that captured the imaginations – and the hearts – of the whole year group.

The pupils are to be commended for their excellent behaviour and conduct throughout the day. They relished the opportunity to experience live theatre and many commented on the magical experience that they enjoyed first-hand.
